Park City
Park City was founded in 1870 as a mining town. Though the mining is long gone, the charm and character this history has imparted remains. First time visitors to Park City are always impressed with the allure and the beauty of the area, as opposed to other major resort towns that were built only recently and exclusively to support the travel industry. Located closer to a major airport (Salt Lake City International Airport) than any other major ski destination in the United States, and with three of the country’s top ski resorts within 15 minutes of one another, Park City is truly a winter wonderland.
